Cecilia Wagner is about to discover just how much her future is intertwined with the past. Challenged by an assignment, she digs into the life of her great-grandmother, a midwife during the 1920’s. Her life mirrors the past, as she takes on the battle of her great-grandmother, and discovers her true purpose.

Ancestral was a Finalist in LA Femme Film Festival, the Female Eye Festival (Toronto), and Writer’s Place, a Quarterfinalist in the Creative World Awards (2013 and 2014), the BlueCat Screenplay Competition, and placed in the top 30% of the 2013 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting.
